Transient Averages
The Signal Analysis setup, transient averages allows for the automatic calculation of various signal attributes. These are
1 The Average of the signal.
2 The Peak to Peak value of the signal.
3 The total RMS of the signal.
4 The rms ripple or the rms variation from the mean/average of the signal. e.g the rms noise superimposed on to the a dc level.
This feature is accessed by the Menu "Setups\Signal Analysis, toolbar button "SA", Transient Averages" tab.
The grayed out run start time and stop time are the times that transient data is available.
The "Start time" and "End Time" set the where the power integration time region. Typically this can be set to the full range noted above. However, it may be desirable to only integrate after initial startup transients. If end time is zero, the max range of the simulation results will be used.
Enable Display of Results
If "Enable results display in output window" is checked, after each run, results will be displayed in the output window at the bottom of the SuperSpice main frame.
