Noise analysis allows a plot of effective input and output noise to be plotted, over frequency.
Make sure that an input node is select to refer the noise to, and an output node is selected to which that noise is referred to.
The noise will be plotted over the frequencies specified in the AC Analysis sweep tab.
Report Noise Frequency
An ordered list of device noise contributions may be obtained from the File menu, "File\Reports\Create Noise" item.
This list is calculated at the report noise frequencies listed in the "Report Noise Frequency" text field as follows:
Report Noise Frequency: [value1 value2 value3 ...]
Example:
Report Noise Frequency: 10 1k 20k 250k 1.2M
Will output ordered lists at the frequencies 10Hz 1kHz 20kHz 250kHz and 1.2MHz
Note:
Make sure that the AC value of the signal source is set to 1.0, i.e. 1 volt or 1 amp to ensure correct scaling of the results.
