Simulation Setup

Main SuperSpice analysis variables (parameters) are setup using the “Setup/Simulation Setup …” menu option. This menu brings up the Setup dialog window, which can be accessed by the main tool bar “Setup\Simulation Setup”, right clicking the mouse button on the “Setup\Simulation Setup” floating menu, or by the quick key “s”. Some setup parameters are redundant but are included because they are features included in the Berkley spice simulation engine. These features are the Fourier and Distortion options. This functionality is superseded by the main Fourier Transform (FFT) capability of the graphical output windows.

AC Set-up AC simulation parameters

DC Set-up DC simulation parameters

TRANSIENT Set-up Transient simulation parameters

Noise Set-up Noise simulation parameters

Parametric Automatically runs SuperSpice again and again each time with a different values

Worst Case Automatically runs SuperSpice again and again with max/min data.

Spice Engine Options Have a look in the installed Spice3F5Manual.html. for further details on these options. for example, you can modify the itl's to get convergence on some circuits.

Temperature  Automatically runs SuperSpice again and again with different temperatures, or does a plot of dc operation points against temperature.

Distortion Displays 2nd and 3rd harmonic distortion (T.H.D.) and F1-F2, F1+F2 and 2F1 + F2 intermodulation distortion (I.M.D.) as a function of frequency. Set up the amplitudes of the signals in the setup dialogs of the Signal/voltage Generator components.

Pole-Zero Tabulates the poles and zeros of the specified transfer function.
